I am currently looking at Mesa's Amp Switcher, but I can't find any real information on it. First of all, PICTURES!!! I am also wondering how you switch between all the amps...is there a foot switch or what? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

It uses 4 tip to ground 1/4 inch jacks. You can use a 4 button foot switch to select any combination of the four outputs. I have one and it works really well. You could also use a midi switcher to control it also, as long as you midi switcher has for controlled inserts. If you want to just leave a couple of outputs on all the time, you could tie the ground and tip terminals together inside some 1/4 inch plug ends and just insert then in the channels you want on.

Here's the manual that comes with it: http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l4/Octavarius/ampswitcherJPG.jpg

The manual pretty much sums it all up, but if you have more questions, feel free to ask. :D

Why are these so damn expensive? Are there any alternatives for splitting my signal and not getting any signal loss? I used to have one of these, then I sold it like a dolt....

There is a ton of stuff out there in pedal form, but does any of it do a decent job preserving the strength of your signal?
