Anyway,
This looks like a nice place to call home... the clips are incredible and the advice seems to be dead on. I have been lurking for quite a while looking at the serial effects loop mod, it seems that there are some down sides to doing that mod as far as solo function on the foot switch... does anyone have any advice about what to expect after the mod as far as the foot switch, and does anyone who did the mod wish they wouldn't have? It seems to be a fairly easy return to parallel if needed.

Your solo switch will still function after the mod. It only deals with the FX mix knob leads for the mod. I noticed a slight amount of gain reduction and a little tighter overall tone when I modded my Rectoverb. It is very easy to do if you can solder. I've modded a handful of different Mesas - all with great results. Your delays will thank you!
