Went to a book signing last nite in Philly, for Nikki Sixx The Heroin Diaries.let me just say what an amazing book,i cant believe the guy is still with us.i recomend the book to any one who is a fan of Motley Crue or hard rock.and what a nice guy i only spoke to him for a minute, but he seemed very cool.oh and the sound track that goes along with the book is very very good ,its by his new band SIXX:A.M.check it out.

I'm sure the book is entertaining - just like the Motley Crue book was but those guys are the biggest ******* and a$$holes in the world. Except Mick Mars - that guy rocks. Don't get me wrong I like their music a lot but they are total jackasses.

maybe they were back then ,maybe they still are,but my brief meeting with Nikki he seemed pretty cool, people do change.Nikki founded an organization to help kids living on the street its called RUNNING WILD IN THE NIGHT,part of the books proceedes go to it.maybe hes not so much of an ******* anymore,Tommy Lee on the other hand ,yeah an *******.

I don't know anything about them personally, but 'beautiful' is the best track on the album. The rest do not impress me... The theme in general is lame IMO...

While I find the concept to be very narcissistically cliché, I've listened to "Beautiful" and "Accidents Can Happen" and like them a lot.

I just think there's people that are remnants from the 80's that still glamorize how "bad" they think they [intentionally] had it. I mean, that's the whole thing with addiction in the first place--glamorizing it. I'm not convinced that Nikki is really over the glamour part. I think he's just taking a different approach to it.
