Hey guys -

Here's my rack:

Triaxis v2.0
2:90
G-Major

Please let me know how you would connect these 3 pieces together so that I have access to all 3 voicings of the 2:90.

I am technically way out of my league here and I am arguing with the other guitarist in my group as to the best way to connect these 3.

Thank you for your help in advance!

I personally do not run effects loops so I would go TriAxis straight into G-Major straight into the 2:90

For access to the voicings on the 2:90 you'll run three cables from the back of the TriAxis where it has the external switch jacks to the back of the 2:90 where it has the switch inputs.

Is this what you're asking?

If you read my in-depth review of the Triaxis and 2:Ninety you'll learn a lot about the hookups and the sounds:

http://www.musicplayers.com/reviews/guitars/2009/1209_MesaBoogieTriaxis290.php

But in a nutshell:

1. The Left and Right outputs from the Triaxis go to inputs 1 and 2 on the 2:Ninety.

2. The FX Send goes to the G-Major Input (LEFT). The left and right (stereo) outputs go to the Triaxis FX Return L and R.

3. You get three short, cheap cables that go from the switch jacks 1, 2, and 3 to the deep, modern, and half-drive jacks on the 2:Ninety. switch jack #4 on the triaxis is unused with the 2:Ninety.

Just to satisfy my curiosity what were the differences between how you wanted to set it up and your bandmate thought it should be set up? It's possible your both correct. I had my G-Major set up in the loop of the triaxis, but eventually switched it to my dual rectifier.
