Help! Effects return on simule-satellite

This will sound like a rookie question, and you are right ..i am.. How are you suppose to use the level 1-10 knob on the simule satellite ? I am using a Mark4 and the satellite via the sat/send on the Mk4. The MK4 master is on 3. What level should i put the knob at? Sometimes i amp getting a weak volume out of the sim/sat.I have to turn it to 10 . Is the a sequence to setting the Level.What level should the master volume be at?

Nobody knows about these effects return controls on these amps ??

Try turning up the Master of the Simul Satellite. In most Mark amps after the IIC+, the Master comes after the FX return, so it should be active. If that still doesn't work, try plugging into the input on the front of the Sim/Sat.
