Anyone have any experience with either the Helix or the new Helix HX when used for channel switching with the Mark V 90? It looks like you should be able to use a stereo TRS cable > mono/mono TS cables into the external control jacks for channels 2/3 to channel switch, but I can't find confirmation anywhere if that will work or not?
It looks like the HX (as I assume the full Helix as well) has the ability to:
"Determines the Ext Amp connection [1 (Tip-to-sleeve), 2 (Ring-to-sleeve), or both] for switching an external amp's channel, reverb, or other functions."
Would that allow for external channel switching control of the Mark V 90 with the Helix HX? Thanks in advance!
