Well America survived another year.

We're cooking Brats, dogs, and burgers on the grill. The wife is gonna make some potato salad and macaroni salad as well. Drink of choice will be Bud bottles. Music playing while splashing in the pool will be classic rock.

No fireworks in our area due to drought conditions in Texas.

Enjoy the day!

of course we survived! 2011 is baby sh*t compared to the 20s,30s,40's,Cold War,ef-5 tornadoes  !!,etc...
-just make sure you handle that potato salad with care!!!too much TX heat, too little refridgeration, and too many Buds might bring a personal Armegeddon!! :D ...always happens to me!!
-we are celebrating being alive and somewhat well-after losing all of our stuff to the tornadoes, it makes everything else trivial
-we are closing on a new house tomorrow, so its gonna be a budget 4th....Miller Lite and corndogs, baby!!!!!!!!!!!
we have had an assload of rain recently, so I will fire up some M-80''s for all of my fellow Texans 8)
-had a blast in Austin this past month...stayed in Georgetown with sis in law...hot as hell, but the humidity was proper
-ENJOY

Happy 4th to you guys too. We are having some fantastic weather here this weekend. Upper 80s, sunny and a good shot of humidity. Just how I like it. :D
Today the beer will flow like wine!!!!
The refrigerator is stocked with Blue Moons and Summit Pilsener, brewed about 15 min. from my house in St Paul. Yummy!
Tonight the Weber will get fired up and I'll throw down some burgers and brats.
There was a huge party down my street last night where I think they reenacted the D-Day invasion at Normandy. I hope they saved some of those fireworks for tonight.

Have a great day!

Hanging out in Cape Cod with the family. Got up, watched the parade which went right by the house. Cousin had the Bloody Mary's ready to go. Quick swim in the bay followed by a round of Wellfleet oysters then lobster for dinner.
