Hey Mesa-owners

My handle was taken off. I know, I should have taken it off. When I unscrewed the handle, I heard something fall. Probably a washer.

Someone recommended me to unscrew the top 4 screws to free the chassis so I can slide it out of the cabinet and see the washer sitting on the cabinet.

Afterwards, I take the washer on top, re-screw the handle back on.

Now as for the chassis, is there are washer for that? I'm afraid once I unscrew the top 4 screws, the washer will fall out just like the handle.

Need some confirmation before I take further action. I am worried and stressed out right now.

It is not a washer. It is a "T"nut. You will not"see the washer sitting on the cabinet" as you said,it is inside your chassis.Inside your chassis there are potentially lethal voltages present, even with the amp unplugged, you apparently have no experience in dismantling or working on amps.Take it to someone who knows what they are doing before you have no amp or worse.
