Hey guys, I'm trying to find out how to get something close to Guthrie's tone. I know the Cornford amps he uses are totally different animals, but I don't know if anyone has anything close to it?

try channel 3, mark II C+, tridiode, 45 watts, gain around noon to one, treble 11 o'clock, mids 1-2 oclock, bass 10-11 o'clock, presence 10-11 and start off with no eq.......??

you got to take into account that the guitar, pickups and technique are very important to try to achieve the sound!!!!!!

he is a monster player!!!!!!!!! hope to hear more from him

^ he basically nailed his lead tone but if your interested in his clean tone try out CH1 with preset sounds preety dam close just eq it up
