Im posting 2 questions...

1.) I want to customize my guitar head with a picture say from a magazine or book... what would I have to do to the guitar finish to get the picture on the head and then what would I put over it to give it a glossy "laquer" like finish?

2.) I posted this in the amp forum too but its also a guitar question. I play out of a TOV and a JCM 2000 in my band and the other guitar player plays very clean and trebley and I cant hear my guitar well on solo bits, I play lead. I have a boss eq and a mxr micro amp but other than turning my amp up nothing is working. A tube driver? Boost pedal? Volume boost? I dont know what to do hear!

Thanks guys

1) I'm assuming you're talking about the headstock. You can either sand off the finish, or use some kind of stripper to get it off. Then you'd have to glue the picture on, how you're gonna align everything, make sure the holes are where they need to be etc is up to you. Then you can buy some laquer in a spray bottle, I'm pretty sure they have those.

2) Crank your mids? He may have a lot of midrange in his sound, which is why you can hear him better.

Hey man thanks so much for the replies...

1.) Im going to try just that.

2.) I do crank my mids and my highs and still i have issues.. Its as if because his sound is clean I cant cut through.
