Hmmmm. I do not know what this is. It is definitely different than my '77 Mark I's. It also looks like it had a pot or two added and an LDR. What the heck is it?? Is it an old import copycat?

Is this a very early Mark I? It looks really nice! I have a '77 Koa Mk I with the same ply back panel. Is this Koa? Again, very, very nice!

Yes it's Koa. August 1976, Serial A615. Just got it and aside from a couple of mods, this thing is clean. NOS Telefunkens in the Pre-amp and NOS RCA Blackplate 6L6's. This thing ROCKS!. Got it for a song.

Very cool! These old ones have a very unique sound and feel. My '77 Koa Mk I has "Stones" written on the side of the chassis where the HRG or HR would be. It has the 60/100w, Reverb, EQ and multi voltage power xformer. It sounds great. I paid for it but not much more than a used Mk I reissue.

Nice amp my friend. Very clean. Enjoy it!!!

I found my '77 Koa Mk I on e-bay and my cream '77 Mk I from a dealer in California. I paid a bit less for the cream one. The "good deals" are out there but it depends on what you consider a good deal. You just gotta keep your eyes open and be at the ready with the bucks!
