I have a Dual 3 channel and thought this particular effects works best in the loop. Anyway I put it in there and I get this squeeling sound. I'll give it a try in this Budda amp I got to see if I get the same problem.

I can't get mine (Q-Tron) to work right in the loop either. Sounds best up front. After my wah, it's the first pedal I hit. I think it's because an envelope filter works by way of pick attack, which is presumably most articulate coming straight from the guitar.

My non-loop signal chain is: GTR>wah>Q-tron>dynacomp>phase 90>amp. I'm able to get some very interesting sounds with the compression on and off, and adding the phase to the envelope sounds pretty cool too - in moderation.
