Last year right before I bought my LSS and more recently the Mark IV, I really was interested in the Gretsch 6120 series or possibly a Falcon.

Is anyone using either of these guitars with either of the amps I have? Care to comment about how it has worked out?

Thanks!

I use a Gretsch Tennessee Rose with my Stiletto.
my other guitarist has a brian setzer 6120.

both guitars sound quite good through my mesa gear.

I've only played a G6120JR Nashville Junior through my Mark IV and I really loved the clean and the R2 channel with a bit of grit.
I didn't care for the lead sound, but then again, I wouldn't use this kind of guitar with a lot of distortion.
Never bought it because, although it was a great guitar, it was ridiculously expensive for a factory product.

my Brian Setzer sounds great through channel 1 of my road kingII head through the open 90's of the road king 4x12 cab. remeber this channel is a clone of the lonestar clean. A gretsch of that quality going through one of the best tube amps made has no choice but to sound awesome and it does!
