graphic EQ and loudness

i use a cal 50+, i have a problem with the loudness of this amp... i'm not alone... at the latest rehearsal, i tried to control the loudness with the amp's graphic EQ... i decreased all the knobs keeping the same setting... it reduces the overall volume (if you always use the EQ of course) without making the sound "choke" or "deaf"...

I do not know if I really made myself understood :?

anyway... does anyone already experienced that ?

My IV does that. It's supposed to be like that. Active EQ.

That can also be used as a volume boost/cut on the Mk IV by footswitching the Eq in or out.

if the eq is always on this is a good solution to make this amp a little less loud
