I needed a small pedal to be able to switch between Channels 1,2 and 3.
I run my amp hard bypassed with EQ and Reverb always on,so the the big V footswitch was kind of redundant.
Looked at a few pedals online and considered Midi, but that was overkill for me too.
Got home today from my local music store, put a 9v battery in the Boss, connected it to the amp and what can I say.
Works beautifully.
You do have to unplug it when not in use,so as not to kill the battery, but that's a small price to pay.
I see where some people have done a mod,so that the pedal can take a 9v power supply.
No lag,no pops.
Still a second or two delay with reverb, but that happened using the V footswitch too.
I bought a TRS cable to two mono plugs or there are also separate mono plugs out for switch A and B.
There is also a polarity switch for each foot switch.
All in all I'm pleased as punch and now I have verified for myself that it works.
Ok...now time to design my pedalboard.
