Here's something to try for the Rectoverb 25 combo with a humbucker guitar (I use a Jem)

Modern 25W
Gain 3:00
Treble 2:30
Mid 8:30
Bass 10:00
Presence all the way up

Turn the amp up a bit.

More settings, this time for rock. I'm especially happy with the clean tone, my tele sounds quite good through it. I put the Fillmore back in, and I'm having a much better experience with it this time around. I wanted to get more lows.

The lead channel is low-ish gain, I generally boost it with pedals. I have noticed that the bass tends to scale with gain, so dialing up gain to 3:00 will give some more gain and noticeably more low-end.
