This one day I experimented with the eq of my single rectifier, and found out that if I maxed everything but gain and presence, I would get the best tone this amp could offer. I think gain and presence should be set to individual likings.

But I tell you, the guitar comes alot more through the mix, and there's no need to worry about to much bass, mid or treble because it all sounds balanced (to my ears anyway), and the best of all is how fast the sound cleans up when you roll off a little on the guitar volume. Even with gibson 500 pickup. I can go from Toolish metal to very clean just by turning down the guitar a bit. Isn't that wonderful? :D

Well, thought I would give you this tip.
