I am a brand new ED user (2 weeks) and today I've spent all day experimenting with it.
I had a roadster and am definitively happy to have changed it for the Dyne. That's a good point !
This amp is awesome !!!

For a couple of hours I was plugged straight in the Dyne. But then I plugged my TC G-major2 and, hum... it sucks, isn't it ?
Not that the tone is bad, but it is really not as good :(
I use in some of my songs the pitch shifter and the whammy so I can't play without the G-major.
My question is : maybe The Eventide pitch factor could do the job without altering the sound. Has anybody tried this ? Or maybe has a solution for the G-major (deactivate the loop ?...).

Second thing, I tried 2 OD pedals : the OCD and the BB preamp (oh, really ? :D).
But after an hour and a half, I was still hesitate between the 2!!! (and I haven't decided yet). Those pedals are really, really great.
If somebody had the same dilemna as me, please tell me, because I need a reason (exept money) not to buy both...

Thanx, I hope the post is understanding...

Hi again !

Time is running out... I have to give the 2 OD pedals back to the store on tuesday and haven't decided yet which one to keep : OCD v4 or BB premp new version.
Help ! :)

Everybody says that the BB is too similar to the ED, and some other say that the OCD can be a little tinny.
I need the OD especially for a boost and for a super lead tone.
When I tried the OCD, my impressions were that this pedal works better as a rythm channel that growls than a boost. And it seems that the BB is the contrary (better to boost a dirty channel).

Can you tell me people, what are the use of your BB or OCD please ? (I know there are some posts about that, but no real comparison between them plugged in an ED).

Thanks a lot.

PS : there's no big deal, both pedals are excellent ones in my opinion but you know, making a choice is a renunciation :)...

1) Eventide Pitchfactor is excellent, noise and issue free- works great with ED

2) Keep the OCD, you dont need the BB if you have the ED- they ARE similar.....

3) Maybe try a TS style OD...a little different, but EXCELLENT with the ED (Maxon OD808, Keely modded TS, Sparkledrive, Route 808,Route 66...)
