FX loop not working - other solutions than V6?

The FX loop on my Mark V stopped working from one day to the other.
I have read about the same issue here with other users and most common
reason was a defective preamp tube. This is not the case with mine.
I tried bridging send&return as advised by Mesa, changed tubes, but
no luck. LED's show the FX loop or Solo to be activated, but no sound,
no master volume. With or without footswitch. All options tried.

I have seen in other forums people talking about defective
relays in the FX loop section.

I wonder if anyone experienced the same problem and has a solution
to it? Any advise is appreciated.

well all i can say is that every f?!?n' time that i would engage the FX loop i had a serious Volume drop, so i tried swapping the V6 pre amp tube as someone stated here . No luck at all same story , i don't know what it is, guess i'll have to live with it, i ain't sending it back to mesa again!! i love hard by mode anyhow, so much tighter and urgent..only thing is that i'll have to use my FX in front of the amp and NOT in loop now, also No Solo Boost, but who cares i'll just set the master vol. higher than other channels, prob solved f?k the fx loop. ditch it.. :twisted:
