Anyone run Fuz pedals into the mark V. Have you tried running them in mark 4 mode? what order do you run the fuzz pedals? Im guessing after the wah and before everything else. This one is being built for me this week cant wait to play around with it. http://pushandpullpedals.com/tritonsputnik-fuzz/
Going for a really distorted nasty tone with PAF Pickups in bridge position.

Awesome thanks!! I was looking at the blunderbuss very close to the triton. Do you use a Wah and if so is it before or after?

I have a wah but I don't use it anymore.
I did have to isolate my DD-20 delay and put it in it's own loop.
For some reason the buffer on it seems to "choke" the openness
of the Blunderbuss.

That Triton sounds like it cleans up nicely with the volume knob.

I have run a number of fuzzes into the MkV...Peppermint fuzz, Fuzz Face, Big Muffs (USA, Russian), Fuzz Factory and the almighty Bluebeard. I usually hit Channels 1 or 2 in Fat and Edge modes. Sometimes Tweed and Crunch modes. It seems (to me at least) like fuzz retains more of its punch if the amp is only semi-dirty. Too much amp gain and the fuzz is diminished.

No wah, but I use some filters (EQ and envelope) and I put them before any dirt.

I use a wah pedal but I like it after the fuzz. My pre amp setup is carl martin compressor>OCD>WAH>MV. The main reason I use the OCD is to be able to wah my gained signal otherwise I am adding gain to a wah signal. If that make sense. However, I have had compliments using the wah before my mid-gain channel only. Thats just me though, experiment and see what you like. Hope this helps.

Try the ZVex Fuzz Factory, you'll never look at fuzzes the same way :D

Did that a few years back...and it was great and all
but it was too unpredictable for me live. Probably
user error more than the unit itself because where
I thought it sounded the best was right on the edge
of uncontrollable squeal. Unfortunately, more often
than not I would have to battle the squeal instead
of getting the fuzz goodness I wanted. I do wish
I kept it to try with the MarkV. I had another
amp back then.
