My fuse recently totally blown and I went to replace them back but the fuse holder doesnt screw in right? The fuse holder screws in fine when theres no fuse in it for some reason. Any suggestions?

ive never had any luck with getting help in this forum lol. thats what happens when you play 4 times a week and everything breaks all the time.

I tried to put a new one in it and then tried to put the old one back in and it doesnt go in. It pops out. The new ones are 3 amps instead of 4 but they look exaclty the same.

Well does anyone know where you can buy fuse holders for mesa boogies at? I know I've tried to get other parts and they dont exist at all for some reason unless u can like ghetto rig a fender part to fit in.

Ive tried that for the past 3 days and it doesnt work. Is it really bad if I just duct tape it in. Im seriously out of ideas and have a show tonight. If someone has a quick solution it will be much appreciated.

Call your nearest guitar shop and ask em for some help or a quick fix!

But i don't think you should be using 3A instead of 4A!!!!

maybe ill just buy 4a and theyll randomly just fit even tho the burn out 4a wouldnt fit back in as well. The 3a looked a hair bigger but i really dont think it was.

Well its not the size difference of the two you should be worrying about.

I think it's bad to have a 3A fuse in your amp than a 4A, i think it says in the manual you MUST have a 4A slo-blo fuse, but maybe I'm Mistaken.

Either way good luck with getting in back in!

But either way the right fuse or wrong fuse does not stay in my amp. im pretty sure the problem lays within the spring inside the cap of the fuse holder. i ordered something that looks exactly like in on a electronics website. I know it says 3A on it but im just using it for the cap. what do u guys think.

I have a similar issue with my Recto-o-verb. I pulled out the fuse once, went to push it back in but there was no spring effect. When I pulled it back out again, the fuse was stuck in the amp. I had to play with it and It finally caught, and I'm assuming it's okay, but no real way to check (unless I pull my power tubes and turn it on or something  )
