Ok friends, I'm slowly completing my rig and have a question: very meny of you (I don't want to say all) use the Furman. Could you describe me why should I get it. Please, write here some details like what does it do/how will it 'help' to my rig, what "functions" does it have.

The less expensive Furmans are a convenient way to supply power to your rack equipment while offering a little bit of protection and electricity filtration. The expensive versions will actually keep the output of electricity steady and may protect your equipment from a brown out.

You do not need a furman or equivilent it is just extra insurance for your equipment.

I had my beady eye on the Furman PF-PRO RE II which is pretty high up on the Furman food chain. If it helps with cleaning power that can be a bit iffy and certain venues then it's well worth the price IMHO.
