I ran into some trouble the other day, as I know a couple of you guys have before. During practice, the footswitch starts to malfunction while everything is turned on. (I do have the ftsw mode enabled)

The EQ switch works, but the Loop doesn't. The channel is permanently stuck on lead, but the rhy1 and rhy2 switches work insofar as they recognize the EQ settings for those channels. The channels don't change though, and in addition the EQ can't be turned off when rhy2 is selected. And all the leds work on the footswitch.

Just wondering if anyone has figured out what the problem is. Even knowing whether it is an amp problem or a footboard problem would be helpful, because I was planning on buying a midi switcher if it's a footboard problem. I took apart both and everything looked fine as far as the connecting wires, but I'm no expert.

Take your amp in to be cheacked out. You may have some switching problems in the circuit but to be sure drop your footswitch off with it to have it checked out too.

have you looked at the auto trigger switchs on the back...something abit like happend to me but i just knock one of those switchs...it's proabley not the case with you but it's worth a try...

When I had this problem, all it was, was that on the lead end (that connects to the amp) a few of the wires had come off of the contacts.
All that was needed was a bit of resoldering.

Thanks for the replies, it's not the rocker switches in the back, must be the contacts on the amp. I'll check it out again.
