Hey guys. I've had this amp for over a month now and I just can't get on with the lead channel. The cleans are fantastic, but I just can't get a lead sound I like. Perhaps if I spent more time with it I could come to love it, but I've been wanting a Mark IV since I first started playing guitar so this would be a good chance to finally own one. I'd be willing to trade my amp and cab for a Mark IV combo, or just the head for a IV head with some money on top if I can afford it.

But I'd be also be interested in some other Mesa's, so just offer me anything you have. I'd throw in the custom footswitch and Boss SD-1 also. The cab is a custom (made by Zilla) 2x12 with V30s.

It's a 1985 Mark III no stripe (first revision, right?) short head and considering its age it's in fantastic condition. It's the non-simulclass model but has GEQ and reverb. There's some scratches on the sides of the tolex but they're not major, I can barely get a picture of them. Here's some pics anyway.

The back picture is from the previous owner, I've cleaned out some of the dust since then.

Cheers

I've put this on eBay now:

I'd sell it to a forum member for £600 + postage though as I'd be saving on eBay fees.
