For sale I have a Revision E 1992 Dual Rectifier. This is a rare revision in that I've only seen less than five of them in the years I've been following 2-channel rectifiers. I bought this a few months ago on eBay to compare it to my previous rectos and have finally decided to keep my Revision D over this one. Since I bought it off eBay, it is obviously used. The previous owner/s took off the serial number, so I don't know what it is. I can tell you the range is anywhere between #515 to #626 (the acceptable range of an E).

Features are:
-new JJ preamp tubes, JJ KT77's, and JJ GZ rectifier tubes
-the famous old recto transformers
-serial loop
-small logo
-attached power cord
-NO footswitch
-leather covering (kinda scratched up a bit)

If you are unfamiliar with old rectifiers, read about them on my website http://www.TheBoogieArchives.com

For my review of the amp, go here: http://forum.grailtone.com/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=32142&hilit=+revision+e+

I have tons of pictures that I'm uploading right now. I can also offer you CLIPS.

I'm going to drop the price to $1500. Pre-500's sell at $1800 all the time, including #29 which was a sale a friend and I made a few months ago. This is an awkward economy to sell gear in, but this is one piece that in my opinion is not as subject to the fluctuation of the economy due to its rarity. You guys tell me what this is worth.

What does it sound like? Exactly like a Revision D. I'm not joking. I've made about 5 comparisons already in different scenarios, some recorded, and they sound the same. So in other words, if you want pre500 tone at a reduced price, here's your ticket!

Cool rare piece ya got got there man ! I'd love to take it off your hands but I'm GASin' and savin' for a
Mark III at the moment !

I'm really curious to know what those KT77's sound like ?

Good luck on the sale !

Its an amazing amp. Which is why I just bought it.

And for the record, Elpelotero sat on AIM with me for HOURS and answered all of my questions, and even listened to some bands whose tone I am trying to nail, just to make sure I was buying something I wanted. Anyone should feel nothing but completely comfortable buying anything from him!

Thanks for the smooth sale Ryan! Hope you enjoy it. Will be packed up in the next 2 days or so when I'm off work.
