I've been playing with these JJ KT77's in my rectoverb on and off for a month or so. I kept switching back and forth between the KT77's and the 6L6's and finally came to the conclusion that I'm just a 6L6 kind of guy. These have about 10-15 hours on them each and will ship wrapped in the paper and original boxes they came in. They are a very cool mix between an EL34 and 6L6. They take the tightness of an EL34 and combine it with the fat low end of a 6L6 basically.

I'll sell them for $30 shipped/paypaled or trade them for one or more of the following items I need/want:

- 12AX7 preamp tubes (Doug's recommendations or similar)
- pair of SED Winged =C= 6L6's
- tube rings for 6L6's (i've got bad tube rattle!)
- I'll consider most anything else!

Thanks...

with the BOSS DD-7 in stock I may just sell these straight up to help raise the money to buy one! (consider this a bump... )

I'm somewhat surprised at the lack of interest in these tubes... :?

I know someone has something i need laying around they would trade for these tubes...

those work in the el34 biasing right? How does the JJ kt77 compare to the high gain el34s as far as tone goes?

Yep, they are drop in replacements for EL34s. I've not heard the JJ E34L's but from what i've the KT77's have more bottom end like a 6L6. The KT77's are basically tight like a EL34 with an extended bottom end. They have a very unique sound.
