this is not absolutely directly towards you, but i dont see no reason why people dont wanna ship gear overseas, since the only "hassle" that yuo have is that you has to fill a form that you do in less than 30 seconds plus it can be done from your pc direct from the USPS site :?

No offense taken Vigo...

Since I have not shipped anything overseas in the past, I did not want it to turn into a big hassle since I don't know what is involved and didn't really want to invest a lot of time into finding out it for $200 USD.

No reflection on the potential purchaser, but I have heard of nightmares when dealing overseas due to different laws and regulations when it comes to seller rights, etc. if the deal goes bad.

The big thing, and this has happened to people I have sold stuff to a couple of times now, is that the buyer can get unpredictably and arbitrarily buttf!cked for customs duties.

I sold a guy an ADA cab sim for CDN$300 and he had to pay like 65 euros in duties when it got to Austria-- basically a 35 per cent tax on a 12-year-old piece of gear.

As well, UPS and FedEx are notorious for just flat out making up "brokerage fees" and tacking them on.
