Selling a loaded long version Mark III head in very good condition. Simulclass, EQ. I installed the R2 volume mod and it took all of 5 minutes and it works great. We all know these amps have a killer lead channel but you will be suprised by by the R2 channel, it's great for crunch and classic rock. I feel it sounds better than the rhythm channel on the Mark IV.

I disconnected the reverb since i never use it. The reverb units on these amps aren't my favorite. I have 1 Boogie footswitch for it.

Overall this amp sounds great. The lead channel has soo much gain that your OD pedals will collect dust. This amp doesn't have a physical stripe on the back but the serial number indicates that it's a Blue Stripe. You can easily check the serial number on the Boogie files page. SN 24428

Priced to sell for $775. We can discuss shipping costs depending on where you are. Available for pickup in NY/NJ area.

And I'm only selling to fund another Boogie. 8)

PICS.

my REVERB on the Mark III is outstanding. Does yours work? Mine has the big red "R" for the reverb mod acording to Mike B at mesa.

I don't want any potetial buyers to sell the reverb short on this amp. I think it's great.

I really don't feel that the reverb is anything special or a selling point of the amp. I use a Verbzilla pedal in the loop and it much more versatile and sounds a lot better IMHO.

Straight up:

Does it work?

Yes it works. I had an issue with it a few months ago when i tried using it. Swapped a tube and problem solved. But i disconnected it afterwards.
