Footswitchable FX loop problem...

So for some reason I can't footswitch in my effects loop. The light on the footswitch will come on, but not on the amp, and none of my effects will come on either. The only way I can activate my effects loop is by turning the knob on the back... Any suggestions guys?

It needs 8. The FX loop is controlled via pin 8. The store probably mixed up the cables and gave you one from a Recto.

Yeah I figured when you asked . I actually got the MkV as part of a trade though, so I think it might be a little late to go back to the store, I'll give it a try though. Thanks for the input .
