Foo Fighters sound with a Mark iv

I wanted to know if anyone had any settings on thier mark iv that sounded kinda like the foo fighters, audioslave, incubus style.

I read in Total Guitar that Dave Grohl uses Rectifiers and Rectifier cabs. I'm not sure how similar the Mark IVs are to the rectos as I've never played one. From what I've heard the Mark is tighter, but that's all I know.

I've played a Mark a few times now....

I'm not too familiar with the EQ yet, but it can get pretty damn close to rectifier territrory.

Roll the tone off your guitar and use the neck pickup, dial out some mids in your GEQ, go to town.
