Well, yesterday was the first time with the V in a band situation. CHurch band. I was very happy with the tone of the amp and how it sat in the mix. Clean channel was just awesome, so much better than the IV. Loved channel 2. It was fun switching between the three modes to get the sound that I wanted. Really easy to dial in a good tone. Channel three was a beast, only used it for 1 song.

I still have popping when switching channels and it is pretty loud. I run the amp 90-45-90 wattage, so there should not be the popping. Anyone have an idea¿

Going to be doing a lot of tweaking, as I know that there are ton's a tone's in that little boogie box.

These sound the best with a band. No idea on the popping. As far as a channel changing amp...mine's pretty quiet.

I asked Mesa. They said it was pretty much normal. With all the relays, voltage, channels etc. there is going to be some noise. :(

But, hey... I've got a MKV   8)
