My Fender Blues Deluxe Reissue is 40 Watts with a 12" Eminence speaker.
I am planning on replacing the original tubes (3 GT-12AX7 and 2 GT-6L6)
with the new TUNG-SOL 12AX7 and the SED Winged-C 6L6.

Can anyone shed some light as to what combination of tubes would
smooth out the highs, tighten or add definition to the bottom end, while
allowing more head room? Something with more tone and harmonics.
Also, a good mix for the preamp section. TS+EH-12AX7?

Later I plan on adding a Celestion G12-65 as a speaker replacement, or
maybe a speaker cabinet addon. I'm looking for a smooth, clean,
musical sound for jazz, rock, and melodics.

Thanks ....

You probably won't get much joy out of a Mesa Boogie forum for a Fender amp.
