I'm tired of the same old/same old settings. If you have any favorites, I'd love to hear about them & experiment with them myself!

Thanks-in-Advance!

I have a Roadster..... but should work the same with the RK.

It seems you want something a little different, so see my post http://forum.grailtone.com/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=69962 and experiment with an EQ out front (and try one in the loop)

Let us know what you think.

I was feeling the same way a while ago so I turned the amp off and looked at the sample settings is the manual. I was actually pretty happy with my clean tones, especially Channel 2, so my focus was on Channels 3 and 4. With the amp off, I dialed in "Giant Fur" on Channel 3 and "Hot Liquid Solo" for Channel 4. Visually, this switched the channels I used for lead and rhythm tones. The next day, with fresh ears, I started playing and it was like I had a new amp! While factory settings may not seem very inspiring, it helped me get out of the tonal rut I was in, perhaps it will help you.

A wah pedal in the FX loop can be cool too. 8)

+1 on going back to the factory settings.

OTOH, Brit mode on channel 2 with every control but the master volume dimed also sounds extremely good to me: https://soundcloud.com/dlpasco/ola-road-king-ii-brit-mode
