Hey guys.

Need some input on this one. I have checked around on-line, ebay etc, and there aren't that many examples to choose from.

So what would a fair price be for a mint (only a few rack scratches, in a rack its whole life) Mesa 2:50 power amp with a recent retube with a Eurotubes kit be??

Thanks, appreciate the help.

I'd go $450-$500 for a 50/50, maybe as much as $600 for a 2:50. The main advantage of the 2:50 is the ability to run EL34 tubes without going to a tech. I would expect a 2:50 to sell for closer to $700, just because it's a later model. If you're not married to EL34s or the "modern voicing" of the 2:50, you will get a great value with a 50/50.

I wouldn't put any extra value on tubes because that is a maintenance item, and you'll be replacing them soon enough anyway.

Just picked up a MINT gen2 (2:fifty) for $550.
This thing is in A++ condition.

I searched for a LONG time for a nice 50/50/lost a few ebay bids ect.
Now I can send my 2:90 in for repair :) .
