Mesa Dual Rectifier Tremoverb for sale. Serial number of R-0037XX puts it around 94-95ish. No issues with LDRs that I've encountered. Amp plays beautifully. For those not in the know, this was Mesa's flagship of the Rectifier line long before the Road King. Two channels and two modes per channel. Orange is Clean and Vintage High Gain. Red is Blues and Modern High Gain. Clean is not Fender like but has some grit and responds beautifully. Vintage High Gain is pretty tight and refined and fantastic for soloing or intricate high gain rhythms. Blues can do its own clean but has a higher mid voicing than other modes and can be pushed into sweet, sweet overdrive. Finally Modern High Gain is THE Recto rhythm voicing. Low end unleashed and balls to the wall. And in luscious tube driven reverb which is to die for and built in tremolo effect and you have a very versatile Recto. Also amp has 1x16 ohm, 2x8 ohm and 2x4ohm outputs. External switching jacks also. Has currently 4 Mesa STR 440 6L6s which sound phenomenal, but can also run EL34s at the flick of a switch. Bold and Spongy switch on the back allow the user to switch between full power amp output or cutting the wattage and "browning" it up a little for a looser response and more manageable volume. Add in a selectable rectifier tracking between 2 5U4Gs and silicone diodes and you can taylor the response further. Tan grill-cloth and black taurus covering on the headshell. Headshell does have some scuffing on front fascia and underside. Normal wear and tear but doesn't look abused. I do have a footswitch for channel switching but not the required cable to use with it. As I haven't used it outside my own home I haven't felt the need to buy one. I should mention I've had several Rectos over the years and the Tremoverbs are my personal favorite.

Asking price is $900 shipped and pp'd At this point I am not looking for trades as I just purchased a Fryette 100/CL and am selling this to offset the cost. Shipping will be done via FedEx as I've heard too many horror stories with UPS. And now the obligatory pics:
