Looks like you're starting to get the picture. There's no way your amp would've sold for whatever your ridiculous starting price was.
Lookie here, #802 just sold for $1,250. Ain't that someting.

Looking grim, mate
mmm, blackface sell for $1870 shipped. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=320172412716&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=011
(we can play this game "price" game forever. Bottom line, 1992 are becoming more rare everyday and supply and demand goes up)
With that said, I've turned down two offers on boogie board. One for $1550 and another for $1525. Therefore, your analyse holds little water. I bought a pre500 for $1375 shipped about 5 months ago. (with 2 sets of extra, brand new, tubes. Does that mean the value of pre500 is only $1300? mmmm, food for thought)
Here are a couple youtube videos of the new (used) Jackson in action. Playing through the 1992 Mesa Boogie Blackface.

Please don't mind my sucky playing or I'll be forced to use the excuse it was cold in my basement and my fingers were stiff. Don't make me use pathetic excuses.
