express 5:25 and an extention cab?

i have a chance to pick up a used 5:25 express (the 1x10) for a good price.
i like the amp but i'm not crazy about the 10" speaker.
i have a 2x12 recto cab cab. would that work with the express? any idea how that would sound?

i just found a subway rocket 44 too. i'm gonna go play it today and i might end up getting it instead. it's a little cheaper than the express.
