We played a rather large gig earlier tonight, kicking off the area's Bikes, Blues and BBQ rally (big time biker rally....250K + bikers expected this year).

Anyhoo.....about halfway through the first set (of 3), Brad's (the singer) Hotrod Deluxe just DIED. So we had to limp through the rest of the set with him playing in acoustic mode through his Parker to the board. That was strange, in itself.
During the break, the soundguy hooked his pedals up to a DI, and tweaked it to where it sounded pretty good out front, and just enough in our monitors. So Brad was once again able to run both distortion sounds AND acoustic sounds at the same time (which is our usual setup).
The rest of the gig went very well. Unusually well, actually. Key note....if any of you guys ever play a biker rally....make sure 'Rebel Yell' is in the setlist. Seriously
