is there any eventide users here that could help me out in updating my stompboxes? I have no clue how to do it and I have tried but failed each time.

They are coming out with output updates and you can name your presets in the upcoming public beta.. But I have no clue how to do this and I could really use some help in learning how to update my eventides

like Im a six year old!

lol thanks

I just upgraded my time and modfactor pedals yesterday without any problems and I am no computer wiz. I think alot matters on what type of computer your using how easy it will be. I used a windows based computer running windows xp but have not seen any problems with people that use any other windows based computers but a few with Macs have had issues. Use the usb port on the back of the factor to hook up to a usb port on your computer and make sure your computer knows its there. Go to the eventide website and look under support for the unit you wish to upgrade. You do have had to register the unit in your name to be able to do the upgrade and have set yourself up on the eventide website. Dont know what someone would do if bought used. On the eventide website, on the support page for your pedal, you will find a highlighted and underlined part that says Timefactor update page (the name of your pedal may be inserted instead of the word timefactor). Click on that and look down the page and it will give you the instructions on how to update, its not that hard even though I have to admit I was worried I might screw up my pedals but it worked fine. The important part is that the pedal is registered in your name. Let me know if this helps
