I have a studio .22 with a Celestion vintage 30 and all new JJ's power and pre-amp tubes on the way.
This amp is a european model so the plug is for 240v I have an external transformer but it is big and heavy. I have a plug in my house that is 240v for my A/C so I can plug in no problem but I was wondering if it would make a difference being 120 and if the sound of the amp would be comprimised by swapping a transformer inside the amp. anyone know?
thanks in advance
