Anybody out there fattening or scooping the OD channels using an EQ,.. with the ED? Please share. In channel 2 of the MV there were good tones but hard to dial in secondary to many unwanted tones here and there. With the M Daniel vid it sounded like the more vintage overdrive blues tones were very easy to attain as well as easy to manage so to speak,.. thoughts out there? Somebody please post some vids along the lines of Kris Dillenbeck's Hendrixy playing at the end of the aforementioned vid. Lastly, how likely do you all think mesa will introduce a two channel ED in the near future?

I hope they don't. IMO...it's the uniqueness of the single channel, 3 tones that
got me. YMMV.

Rather then a two channel ED, I would rather see a 45 watt short head.

I rarely use 90 watts, if they could go straight 45 and make a smaller lighter head, and then just an ED 1x12 cab, so as to make moving it around easier.

so the consensus is that the foot switching works well and is adequate to have the best of the three stages of clean, low and high gain available?

I boost both low and high gain- boosting low with the Maxon gives for a robin trowerish lead (and some uni-vibe/phaser and wah) bridge of sighs type gain, and boosting high turns the amp into a modern lead machine...notes ring and sing then blend into rich harmonic feedback- beautiful sustain!
I sold a 10 band MXR EQ- just didn't need it with the dyne. The Maxon is very complimentary to the dyne- if you haven't tried one- its worth your time, trust me.

They already have a short head. Smaller, lighter, and easier to move around? Yes, Yes, and Yes. Who cares if it also has the 45/90 watt switch, you don't HAVE to use the 90 watt mode.
