Hey guys, how many of you run an EQ with your rectos? Any clips out there?

Cheers

I run a MXR KFK EQ pedal in the loop of my Roadster, mostly for distortion channels, just to get a different type of tone...

I ran the same KFK eq that KH Guitar Freak used... but I used it on front of my 2 channel DR. It can really alter your tone in anyway you want it to, but I have since taken it off of my pedalboard... only because the sound of my older recto is beast enough by itself.

That being said, if you are in 3 channel recto realm, an eq can help tame those "fizzy" frequencies.

I run a Boss 7 band EQ in front of my wah of all places. I'm a huge Adam Jones fan and love the sound i get with my Rect-O-Verb.

Guitar > Eq > Rect-o-verb
Chorus > Delay in the loop.

I use a MXR 10 band EQ in the loop to help tighten it up. Low to moderate volumes is when I mostly use it. When I get to crank the beast, there is no real need. 8)

Used to run a Maxon GE601 before i went to NOS preamp tubes... once i got the right combo of tubes i didnt need the eq anymore

i just added a boss ge7 eq to the effects loop of my tremoverb combo.
it improved every aspect of my tone, clean or dirty. the clarity and definition it brings is stunning.

I use an MXR 10 band in the FX Loop as well. It really helps for the high gain stuff on channels 3&4. Tightens things up quite a bit.
