EQ with Nomad 45?

Has anyone here had any experience using a graphic EQ with their Nomad 45 or 55, either in their pedal chain in front of the amp or in the effects loop?

Yes. I use a modded Boss GE7 in the loop (it's the last in line). It works very nicely for tailoring the sound in different rooms and adding more bass overall. It is a noisy pedal without the mod however YMMV.

What sort of mod did you add? Is this a commonplace thing to do with a GE-7, or is this a bit more off the beaten path?

There are lots of mods out there for the GE7 which basically do the same thing so no it's not off the beaten path. Just Google and pick one. Mine is a DIY from Monte Allums but you can have it done for you also. Well worth the money.
