Is there a trick to get rid off the pop when engaging the GEQ at the mark III, like there is on the MKII?

Thanks
Tony

Get a louder drummer? :D
But seriously, I just checked my green stripe, and I don't get a pop when engaging the GEQ, whether by foot switching or the front panel toggle. Have you tried another switch? I usually use a Boss FS-6 for the Graphic/Reverb because it has LEDs (it didn't pop, either). Sorry I'm no help. :(

You need to put a 62K resistor from the top trace on the EQ fader board to ground.
You can check for a good ground with your multimeter, but you will need it as close as possible
so you don't have to run wiring. The best site to me would be adding a solder lug to one of the reverb
connector screws.

A bit embarrassing but I did this today and it works. Thanks again.

This problem will also rear its ugly head if you run your amp in "EQ AUTO" mode, and switch from clean to lead channel. Ask me how I know? Thanks, Ed for this fix many years ago. :D

Only took you five years, that's not bad. Bring your repairs with you to the oil rig next time....
I just don't understand why my repairshop didn't make any money ;-)
