Man those EMG JH's rock, can only imagine them running on 18V.

Hmmm yeah I hadnt thought of that. The duncans sound the same on 18v as they do on 9v but I am not sure about the EMG's.

I've been waiting for a decent YT clip of a EMG JH set and I'm glad I found one.

Both are likeable but I like the JH set because it seems more defined and mid-snarly to me.

Could I possibly request a EMG81 vs EMG JH comparison? That would be very awesome. I currently have an EMG 81/60 combo in my explorer and I've always liked the sound of passives and feel/bang of actives and this Hetfield dude whoever he is stole my idea. :lol: So no wonder I'm considering this set.
Seriously that would be killer. Pwetty pwease?

That is a pretty good demo of the pickups.

I could believe the clarity the Hets have. Even with loads of distortion, they just CUT. :evil:
