EMG Active vs EMG Passive

I'm thinkin about buying a guitar with a Floyd Rose. I have a ton of guitars and none with a whammy bar so I'd like to get one. I was looking at Schecters, and I like the Damien and Damien Elite. The only difference besides the way they look is the Elite has the 81/85 (Active) and the regular Damien has the H4/H4A (Passive). Is there a lot of difference in sound? I have a guitar with the 81/85 combo and 18 volt mod. Anybody know how they would compare?

I have had actives and the EMG passives, and the passive sound pretty close to the actives, they don't have the same sensitivity, but still have pretty good output.

actives are noisier than the passives in experiance. Same guiter full body cavity shield.
