I thought you guys might want to hear for yourselves .

Recorded with a Behringer B1 in front of the cabinet.

Gear used Esp Viper 301 with EMG 81 in the Bridge and 60 in the Neck

Into a Triple Channel Dual Rectifier into a Marshall 1936V 2x12 cabinet with Vintage 30's then into a behringer Mic200 Preamp and finally into the Line In of my Soundblaster Audigy 2 sound card.

For those who heard the file I posted before please forget you even listened.

The strings I had on the guitar where 3 months old.

I just restringed today yesterday and wow what a diference.

I nomally replace my strings once a month but I have been a bit slack lately as i am still paying off my Dual Rectifier.

Here they are enjoy

wow, great clips! i really liked the tones. Do you notice any difference with the 18V mod?

Yep the top end sounds less Hi Fi.
I can get better medium gain sounds too.

Are you running the the batteries in series or parallel? One just extends battery life and the other actually makes it 18v. Just wondering because I am thinking about doing this if two batteries will fit in my guitar body cavity. Thanks man, those clips sound great!

If you play a ESP then you dont have room, atleast in mine the battery compartment is just big enopugh for one :(

I hear it's not that big of a difference for guitars compared to basses. Not so big I would carve on my guitar!
