el34's in Electra Dyne

Electra Dyne ships with 6L6, and I have a quad of Groove Tube EL34M I want to try in it. Do I have to get the amp biased or just flip the bias select switch to EL34 on the back of the amp? Can I harm the amp by not biasing, or does it sound any different whether I bias or not?

Yup, there's a switch in the back, no need to re-bias.
