Hello,

I was looking for suggestions on pedal order through my Mark V, I will likely go through the FX loop. Here is what I have:

Big Muff
Small Stone
2880 looper and foot pedal
Flanger Hoex
Sterio Memory man w/ haz.

Thanx.http://forum.grailtone.com/posting.php?mode=post&f=6&sid=ebf2e8b6d0c9993772bcf06fd35744fc#

These things are usually user preference but if I was setting up this for my live rig and I was only using an amp head I would do this.

Guitar
Flanger Hoex
Small Stone Phaser
Big Muff
Amp Input
FX send
Stereo Memory Man w/ Hazarai
2880 looper
FX return

All flangers and phasers usually sound "best" before distortion like the Big Muff and your amp's own preamp distortion.
Delays are almost always last but a looper would definitely go last to give you the most flexibility in a live setting.

If using in a recording setting, the order really depends on the effect you are going for. Go to the EHX.com site and listen/watch the Effectology postings like this one. http://www.ehx.com/blog/effectology-hammond-b3-organ The guy that does those is a Chicago studio musician and has made some pretty cool sounds with his EHX stuff.

Good luck with your rig.

Interesting info. I'll have to try to move my flanger to the beginning of the chain. I have it running through the loop now.
