Im seriously getting one of these heads and selling my single recto. My single recto sounds like **** when cranked and is really thumpy, fizzy, and not clear.
How well does the Renegade do metal? It seems much more versatile then my recto.

The Renegade can do some metal but you'll have to turn the gain close to max. I had the Renegade but returned it back...I thought the distortion sounded kinda grainy. Other than that I love the features built into the amp. How are you eq settings for your Rect? It can easily get fizzy if you have your gain, treble and presence up.
